The best part about spending time at the Sundance Harvest Market is meeting new people. We made new friends and got some repeat customers from last year. It was so nice to see some familiar faces and hear positive feedback from people who had purchased the cookbook last Autumn.

Our booth!
This year was different because we were asked to participate in an interview for KSL TV to promote the Sundance Harvest Market and the cookbook. On the day before the Harvest Market, we headed down to the Sundance General Store bright and early for filming. We met a few other Sundance Harvest Market vendors, along with KSL TV reporter Jen Hardman. Live tv is fast paced and exciting! The next day at the Harvest Market, at least five different people came to the booth to tell us that they had seen us on tv.

Setting up for the KSL interview
We spent the rest of that day hiking to Stewart Falls and visiting with friends.

The Sundance Harvest Market was on Saturday, September 29. It was a perfect Autumn day! It was a little chilly in the morning when we were setting up the tent, but it quickly warmed up and turned into a gorgeous and sunny day. The event is held annually on Ray's Lawn at Sundance Resort; with the gorgeous fall foliage and impressive Mount Timpanogos, it is creates the perfect backdrop for the Sundance Harvest Market.
The tent went up without a hitch and we were completely set up ahead of time. Last year we only had 700 or so samples and we ran out before the day was even over. This year, we came prepared with about 1,000 samples! This was the perfect amount and we had enough samples to last until 4pm. A few of the most popular recipes were the Chocolate Fudge Cake, Sour Cream Vanilla Bundt Cake, Banana Bread, Pumpkin Bread, and Peanut Butter Cookies. Our booth was busy all day long. At Sundance Harvest Market, there is hardly a moment to sit down and relax -- but we are so grateful for all the visitors! It was such a great day. There was a great energy in the air. I think the beauty of Sundance makes everyone happy and friendly. We cannot wait to participate again next year!

After the Harvest Market, we enjoyed a birthday party with some new friends up the mountain. It was the perfect end to the perfect day.
Anyone who has been to Sundance knows that the place is truly magical. It's a dreamy and relaxing place to spend a vacation. We even start missing Sundance while we're packing up the car to leave. If you ever get the chance to go to Sundance, you absolutely should.
