Centro Hispano serves the Hispanic community in Utah County and beyond. We have worked during the past ten years to build relationships that empower and create opportunities for our clientele. Through this process, we have gained unparalleled access to the Hispanic population in the area as they have come to recognize us as an invaluable source of information and services that improve their lives.
Our services and events reach thousands of people each year. The Festival Latinoamericano, held over Labor Day weekend, attracts over 20,000 visitors annually. Likewise, we see 600+ attendees at our annual Día de los Tres Reyes Magos event held in January. Our semi-annual health fairs are attended by over 700 people.

Our other areas of focus include:

Health & Wellness – Programs include free Zumba classes, free HIV testing, promotion of the Spanish Tobacco Quit Line, health workshops, and monthly BMI, BP, and glucose screenings.

Community Education – Provides opportunities for building and personal growth through formal and non-formal education. Courses include English classes for speakers of other languages, Spanish literacy for native Spanish speakers, GED preparation in Spanish, computer instruction, citizenship, residential electricity, and sewing classes.

Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic – Provides education to the community about their tax rights and responsibilities. Additionally, the clinic assists individuals with resolving tax related issues such as audits, appeals, and collection issues.

We are always seeking to build relationships with businesses and other organizations that will allow us to better complete our mission. You can reach us at info@CentroHispanoUC.org or (801) 655-0258.
